Young Justice, original artwork.
(Wondergirl, Bumblebee, Miss Martian, Supergirl, Batgirl) I’ve been binge watching the first season of Young Justice like crazy now that its on Netflix.  They should’ve just put both seasons out all at once…while announcing the revival of the show…now that would make a great birthday present.
Speaking of birthdays, you can purchase this print from my store (Storenvy) as well as all of my other prints for 15% off using the promo code ARIES15 until April 9th!  Buy a few and help celebrate my birthday with me!

this mini suffers from some questionable art in places, but it’s generally well written and offers a bit more of an insight into mcu natasha’s past and what drives her. it’s sort of a take on the itsy bitsy spider storyline from 616, updated for the mcu. it’s worth a read imo

DC superheroes by Rodolphe Guenoden.

I bought a handful of sketchbooks from Rodolphe ages ago at a con. Not only is he an amazing talent but he’s one heck of a nice guy. It’s a damn shame he isn’t a household name.

Harley Quinn and Ivy Go Canon in the new 52?

dcwomenkickingass:

Harley Quinn certainly has been considered part of queer pairing with Poison Ivy by most fans based on the animated version of the character and some moments like this from Gotham City Sirens.

image

In the semi-annual couple’s tournaments I’ve held Harley/Ivy is much more popular couple than Joker/Ivy.

But in the new 52 Ivy was off in Birds of Prey while Harley joined the Suicide Squad. But now with her own book, the two have been reunited and the innuendo moves into canon category.

So if you haven’t read this realize there is material from today’s comic below.

Heroine Redesigns
Supergirl, Storm, and Wonder Woman fell fashion victims to my warm-up sketching. There’s probably some kind of cardinal rule against mixing DC and Marvel characters, but I live life dangerously.

Random Spouse Insight into the Costume Redesigns: Wonder Woman was designed wearing a stylized bulletrpoof vest, as well as her bulletproof gauntlets extending, and bulletproof boots/neck brace! Supergirl was designed to be more practical since she already has amazing powers, but the cape was changed into a hoodie (that I fucking want). Storm is by far my favorite, with a plumed fabric wrap-around that is supposed to be able to extend in high winds and otherwise ribbed armor that’s reminiscent of the new skydiving/base jumping suits. I really want all of these costumes, is what I’m saying.

There’s never been a more frustrating time to be a socially progressive fan of Marvel Comics. Not because its many titles are conservative or hateful — just the opposite, in fact. Marvel’s printed superhero books are more ethnically diverse, feminist, and queer-positive than they’ve ever been. The frustration comes because, even as Marvel’s printed offerings are looking forward, its popular live-action movies and TV shows feel like relics from a lily-white, male-dominated, straights-only past. It’s time for Marvel to push its onscreen output into the 21st century by learning from its own source material.

Marvel’s Diversity Problem — Vulture

THE FOX VERSION OF ROBIN HOOD

You all realise

This means Deadpool is a Disney fan :D

Hahahaha oh my god these two.

Surprise! The trick is that they’ve all got explosives in them!

Phil left specific orders that Clint and Wade should never be sent on missions together.

Obviously, those instructions were ignored.

Its okay, though - Jasper took pictures of Phil’s face when he read the comm line transcripts. They are epic.

Deadpool is probably the only comic I ever managed to read gracious amounts of. I really love them.
