What hoard would you have?
If there’s a dragon with a kitty hoard or a donut hoard, then yeah, those are me.
Space ship designs. Top two painted off models created in Sketch-up and Blender.
More space ship concepts. I really like this one.
New lineup of Nova crew.
I tried a new style after watching CubeBrush's tutorials, and it actually made doing character designs go a lot easier (I typically just use line-art rather than add shading when trying out hair/clothing/etc. styles.)
From L-R: Cassidy, ace pilot and the hot-tempered captain of the Nova. Her personal ship is called the Caster, and hasn’t been designed yet. Gwen, her gf, the ship’s science officer, healer, and navigator among other things. Hyde (short for Hydrangea, her parents were Druids), the weapons expert.
My original concept for Hyde had her in just a black triangle bikini top under her coat, but then I wasn’t sure if it made it too similar to Cassidy’s jacket + short shirt combo. Also worried about changing Cassidy’s jacket and removing the vest. It might be too close to Hyde’s. Also considering shorts of some sort for Hyde.
More crew to come as I think them up.

The top two might have been my attempt at a Caster design. I’m still trying to figure out Cassidy’s ship for fighting. I have been incorporating mostly crystals as conductors for characters’ magic.
The bottom right one uses glyphs as protection/shields.
Asteroid Field (and ship)
Spaceship and shuttle designs. And yes, that one is a cruise ship, I guess.
So I’m looking for somewhere online or near Grand Rapids to print some books for me. They’ll be art books, so I’ll need full-color pages, and I’m hoping for it to be landscape format.
Does anyone have recommendations for places online or near GR I could get that done without being expensive? I want to do a limited run initially, with only about 24 pages or so.
Requisite question mark to make replies possible?
The Iron Throne as described in the novels, officially endorsed by GRRM on his blog as the most accurate artistic representation thus far. By artist Marc Simonetti.
What the fuck that isn’t safe
No, it’s not. The histories talk about how the throne is cruel to unworthy kings. Jaime would talk about how Aerys Targaryen would constantly be covered in scabs from sitting on the throne carelessly.
'No man should sit comfortably upon the throne'
It is meant to be an ugly, monstrous beauty. And several times during the books Joffrey cuts himself on throne.
One page comic for the anthology my class is putting together about mythological creatures doing mundane activities, like a siren singing in the shower! I don’t know if it’s super clear, but she actually has a rock to sit on in her little tub thing.
